Wavelength is the distance between wave peaks. It equals the wave’s speed divided by its frequency. For electromagnetic waves the speed is the speed of light, about 299,792,458 m/s, so a 100 MHz FM signal has a wavelength of about 3 meters. Higher frequency means shorter wavelength.
For sound, use the speed of sound (about 343 m/s in air) instead. Keep speed in meters per second and frequency in hertz, and the wavelength comes out in meters.

Divide the wave’s speed by its frequency. For light, use the speed of light; for sound, the speed of sound.
