A sphere’s volume is four-thirds π times the radius cubed: 4⁄3πr³. Enter the radius — or switch to diameter and it halves it — and the calculator returns the volume in cubic units along with the surface area, 4πr².
Because the radius is cubed, volume grows fast: doubling the radius makes the sphere eight times bigger. It works for balls, tanks, domes and planets alike.
