Pay quoted in one period converts to any other once you know your working schedule. This calculator turns an amount into its annual equivalent first — using your hours per week, days per week and weeks worked per year — then divides that annual figure back down into hourly, daily, weekly, two-weekly and monthly pay.
The defaults assume a standard full-time schedule of 40 hours across 5 days for 52 weeks a year. Change the schedule fields to match part-time hours, a shorter work year, or unpaid weeks off, and every figure updates.
annual = rate × periods per year · hourly = annual ÷ (hours/week × weeks/year)
Multiply your hourly rate by the hours you work per week, then by the weeks you work per year. At 40 hours a week for 52 weeks, $25 an hour is $25 × 2,080 = $52,000 a year.
A standard full-time year is 2,080 hours — 40 hours a week times 52 weeks. If you take unpaid time off, reduce the weeks-per-year figure to match.
