How the Brick Calculator Works

A standard modular brick wall takes about 6.86 bricks per square foot including the mortar joints. Multiply the wall area (length × height) by that figure and add about 10% for cuts, waste and breakage. A 20×8 ft wall needs roughly 1,208 bricks.

Subtract the area of any large openings like doors and windows before ordering, and always round up to full pallets.
