How the Age Difference Calculator Works
The age gap between two people is the time between their birth dates. This calculator takes both dates of birth, figures out which person is older, and gives the difference in years, months and days — counting full years first, then remaining months, then days, borrowing from the previous month when needed. It also shows the gap as total months and total days.
Because it works with real calendar dates, leap years and different month lengths are handled automatically, so the result is exact rather than an approximation.
