A cylinder’s volume is the area of its circular base times its height: πr²h. Enter the radius and height and this calculator returns the volume in cubic units, plus the total surface area 2πr(r+h) and the base area πr².
It’s the go-to for round tanks, pipes, cans and columns. Keep radius and height in the same unit; the volume comes out in that unit cubed — convert cubic inches or feet to gallons or litres as needed.
