In numerology, your Life Path number is the single most important figure, drawn from your date of birth. You reduce the month, day and year each to a single digit, add them, and reduce again — unless you land on a “master number” (11, 22 or 33), which are kept as-is. The result, 1 through 9 or a master number, is said to describe your core traits and life direction.
The optional Expression (or Destiny) number comes from the letters of your full birth name, each mapped to a value 1–9 and reduced the same way. This is a bit of fun rather than science, but it’s a popular introduction to numerology.
Life Path = reduce(reduce(month) + reduce(day) + reduce(year))
The central number in numerology, reduced from your birth date, said to represent your personality and life direction. It runs 1–9 plus the master numbers 11, 22 and 33.
Reduce the month, day and year each to a single digit, add those three, and reduce the total again to one digit (or a master number).
11, 22 and 33 — these are not reduced further because numerology treats them as especially powerful.
